Also Present: William M. Healy, Esquire, County Counsel
Chairman Carroll called the executive session to order at 9:00 p.m. in the Law Library of the Dukes County Court House.
Executive session was convened to discuss the threat of a lawsuit made by the County Manager, Mike Johnson.
County Counsel, William Healy, rendered an opinion on the merits of the lawsuit.
For the purpose of settling Mr. Johnson’s prospective claim, the Board reviewed the resignation proposal put forth by Mr. Johnson’s lawyer and discussed the terms of a counter proposal. The Board instructed Mr. Healy to communicate the terms of the counter proposal to Mr. Johnson and his lawyer.
The executive session was adjourned at 9:55 p.m.
