SPECIAL MEETING – POLICE COMMISSION
June 6, 2011

MEMBERS PRESENT: Commissioner’s Rob Parlee, Ed Fusco, Steve Petty, and Frank Jackter
OTHERS PRESENT: First Selectman Gregg Schuster, Sergeant Marc Petruzzi, Brad Bernier, and Civics Students
1. Call to Order – Commissioner Parlee called the June 6, 2011 special meeting to order at 6:32p.m.
2. Discussion and Possible Action Regarding 3rd Shift Implementation – First Selectman Schuster handed out, to the members of the commission, the updates to the three possible scenarios implementing 24/7 coverage and additional rank structure (see attachment #1). The updates include assumptions of the cost. The scenarios were reviewed and discussed.
Commissioner Jackter MOTIONED to move forward with scenario 3. SECONDED by Commissioner Petty. All members present voted in favor. MOTION CARRIED.
3. Adjourn – Commissioner Jackter MOTIONED to adjourn at 7:06p.m. SECONDED by Commissioner Fusco. All members present voted in favor. MOTION CARRIED.
