MEMBERS PRESENT: Commissioner’s Rob Parlee, Ed Fusco, Steve Petty, and Frank Jackter
OTHERS PRESENT: Sergeant Suchecki and Board of Selectman Liaison Stan Soby
1. Call to Order – Commissioner Parlee called the December 28, 2011 special meeting to order at 6:30p.m.
2. Executive Session to Discuss Candidates for Police Officer Vacancy – Commissioner Parlee MOTIONED to go into executive session to discuss candidates for police officer vacancy and to invite Sgt. Suchecki, S. Soby and G. Santos. SECONDED by Commissioner Jackter. All members present voted in favor. MOTION CARRIED.
The board of police commissioners and invited guests went into executive session at 6:31p.m.

3. Discussion and Possible Action on Candidates for Police Officer Vacancy – Commissioner Jackter MOTIONED to authorize First Selectman G. Schuster to hire Brian Kowalsky as a Colchester Police Officer. SECONDED by Commissioner Petty. All members present voted in favor.
4. Adjourn – Commissioner Jackter MOTIONED to adjourn at 7:37p.m. SECONDED by Commissioner Petty. All members present voted in favor. MOTION CARRIED.
