POLICE COMMISSION MEETING
December 19, 2011

MEMBERS PRESENT: Commissioner’s Rob Parlee, Ed Fusco, Steve Petty, Frank Jackter and Stan Nolan
OTHERS PRESENT: First Selectman Gregg Schuster, Sergeant Petruzzi, Sergeant Suchecki, Board of Finance Liaison Art Shilosky, Brian Kowalsky, Mikel Brockway, and Civic Students
1. Call to Order – Commissioner Parlee called the December 19, 2011 special meeting to order at 6:31p.m.
2. Executive Session to Interview and Discuss Candidates for Police Officer Vacancy – Commissioner Petty MOTIONED to go into executive session to interview and discuss candidates for police officer vacancy and to invite Sgt. Petruzzi and Sgt. Suchecki. SECONDED by Commissioner Jackter. All members present voted in favor. MOTION CARRIED.
The board of police commissioners and invited guests went into executive session at 6:33p.m.
The board of police commissioners and invited guests came out of executive session at 7:42p.m.
3. Discussion and Possible Action on Citizen Complaint – Commissioner Jackter MOTIONED to send a letter to Lieutenant Gould in reference to the complaint that was filed and the board of commission agrees with the findings of the report and that it is now closed. SECONDED by Commissioner Petty. All members present voted in favor.
4. Adjourn – Commissioner Petty MOTIONED to adjourn at 7:52p.m. SECONDED by Commissioner Fusco. All members present voted in favor. MOTION CARRIED.
