Chief Cox called the informational meeting to order @ 19:00 hrs NO QUORUM
Absent: 1AC McMinn, 2AC McKenna, Jean Walsh
Citizen’s Comments: G. Avery spoke on: proper nighttime lighting of apparatus, use of lights and sirens, use of facility.
Ambulance Bid Status –Gary Avery: on schedule cab and chassis to be drop- shipped to Horton
Budget Issues: FY 2010 on going, Chief to meet with 1st Selectman FY2011
Career Staff/Personnel: Hiring process in final stages. Discussion on: use of cell phone cameras, video at emergency scenes. Discussion on Damage to ET-328
Training : posted/ongoing
Smart tag mass casualty/NAAK refresher exams forthcoming.
EMS: meetings were held with Apple Rehab and HCG. EMS bag inventory ongoing. Capt. Evans reported if CHFD techs are providing BLS in mutual aid ambulance -we follow our protocols per med control.
Captain’s Reports: Fire Lt. job description, PPE for new hire, update Co. 2 issues.
HSO Rowland discussed current issues.
Chief Officer’s Reports: NFIRS update, Co. 2 update-well, flooring
Co. 1 for Solo heater (modines) New ET status-Cat engine
Ward Diesel to install vehicle exhaust.system – ongoing. Discussion on overall FD vehicle status.
