Regular Meeting Minutes
Tuesday, November 13, 2007 – Colchester Senior Center
MEMBERS PRESENT: Chairman Bernie Erickson, Clara Erickson, Bill Wagner, Jean Stawicki
MEMBERS ABSENT: Vice Chairman Ann Smyk, Sally Carbone, Regina Saparo-Hunt, James Cunningham
OTHERS PRESENT: None
1. Call Meeting to Order: Chairman Bernie Erickson called the regular meeting to order at 1:03 p.m.
2. Minutes of 10/9/07 Regular Meeting: Bill Wagner motioned to approve the regular meeting minutes of 10/9/07. Clara Erickson seconded. Three members voted to approve, one abstained. MOTION CARRIED.
3. Financial Report: No items were reported.
4. Chairman’s Report: Bernie Erickson reported that Regina Saparo-Hunt is now home. Also, that Ann Smyk has had an operation, but should be home soon.
Bernie attended the Commission Chairman’s meeting with the Selectman at the end of October.
Bernie and Michelle Komoroski, clerk, attended a Freedom of Information meeting at the Town Hall in early November.
Bernie also attended the Veteran’s Day Celebration assembly at Colchester Elementary School.
5. Friends of the Senior Center Report: November’s meeting will be held on November 29th due to Thanksgiving. There will be no meeting in December. Norm Dupree has submitted an application to the town for the task force that is being set up to study the senior center/community center issue.
