MINUTES
Members Present: Thomas Tyler, Joseph Ruiz, Irene Malsbenden, Joseph DeLucia, Paul Picard, Pam Scheibelein
Members Absent: Anthony Tarnowski

1. Call to order: Chairman Tyler called the meeting to order at 7:08 p.m.

a) Discussion of Correspondence Received: None
4. Approval of Minutes
February 14, 2013: P. Scheibelein motioned to approve the minutes of the February 14, 2013, seconded by I. Malsbenden. Vote was unanimous. MOTION CARRIED.
5. Presentation and Discussion of Architects Options: M. Tommasini presented four options that would reduce or eliminate portions of the current plans for the project. He had no dollar amount assigned to each of the options but said the savings on the first two options would be minimal. He also cautioned that changing the scope of the work from a new build to a renovation would affect the state reimbursement rate therefore not allowing for the savings as it might appear. Committee members agreed they did not want to pursue the forth option which was to eliminate the Senior Center and Community Center from the scope. Principal Bennett was asked about the impact each option, as well potential classroom reduction, would have on programs.
Tecton will provide a more itemized list of costs before the next meeting.

7. Adjournment: J. Ruiz motioned to adjourn, seconded by P. Scheibelein. Vote was
unanimous. MOTION CARRIED. Chairman Tyler adjourned the meeting at 8:25 p.m.
