5:00 PM: DISCUSSION REID SILVA FOR BARBARA KIMBER; Article 4 Section 4.2A3; 16 Cross Rip Lane; Map 24 Lot 22: Review a proposed new shape and location for the built-in swimming pool and fence. Determine if the change is inconsequential or, if the hearing needs to be re-opened. Confirm equipment shed location has not changed. The Special Permit for the pool was approved on November 28, 2012. |

5:10 PM: BEN ROBINSON FOR ROBIN SHANUS AND STEPHEN MERKEL; Article 4 Section 4.2A3; 17 Howell Lane; Map 27 Lot 3: The ZBA reviewed the proposed changes to a pool plan and determined they were significant and required the hearing to be re-opened. The changes include: 1. Change the bronze fence
enclosure to a 4-foot high, split rail fence with 1.5” X 1.5” mesh galvanized wire. 2. Relocate the pool equipment to grade level and on the north side of the bunk house. The previously approved pool equipment was to be located in an underground vault. Confirm the pool equipment is in a sound-insulated shed. 3. Request a waiver of the photo-voltaic panels that were approved to supply power for the electric forced hot air heat pump pool water heater. If approved, this special permit only nullifies the swimming pool portion of the Special Permit issued on October 13, 2009.
The reconstruction of a pre-existing, non-conforming garage in a buffer zone that is regulated as a zoning shore zone was approved as part of the October 13, 2009 Special Permit and is still valid. |
