Committee Chair Warren Doty called the meeting to order at 12:00 p.m.
In attendance
Committee Chair Warren Doty, Committee Member Jim Newman, Chief Ben Retmier, Admin Assistant Allison Graczykowski
Absent: Committee Member Cindy Mitchell
Chief Retmier asked the committee to authorize that he as Chief be the signer on agreements that the State requires for filing a financial report for fiscal year 18 and future years. Committee member Jim Newman motioned to approve Chief Retmier as the signer and Committee Chair Warren Doty seconded the motion. The motion passed unanimously.
Committee Chair Warren Doty shared that Kelly McCracken said in order for medics to be part of group IV, that EMTs must be included as well.
Committee Chair Warren Doty moves that the committee vote to amend language to: Paramedics and EMT’s that are eligible, would be able to enroll for group IV retirement should they choose to join Dukes County Retirement Plan.
Committee member Jim Newman seconded the motion. The motion passed unanimously.
