Tuesday, October 10th, 2017 Meeting Minutes
The meeting was called to order by Committee Chair Warren Doty at 12:00 p.m.

- Approval of September 13th, 2017 Meeting Minutes
Committee Member Jim Newman motioned to approve the meeting minutes, Committee member Cynthia Mitchell seconded the motion, with the noted changes. The motion passed unanimously.
Chief Retmier shared that the projected delivery date of the new ambulance has been pushed back to February, due to larger orders. Chief Retmier also shared that C-90 is having what appears to be electrical issues causing the emergency lights to not work consistently. The vehicle is being looked at to determine if there may be a faulty board.
Time will be reserved for topics the chair did not reasonably anticipate.
The Committee asked Chief Retmier to reach out to Chief Rossi about a PSA for drug disposal.
Chief Retmier advised the committee that paramedics are now allowed, by the State, to use Tylenol via IV and Toradol in lieu of a controlled substance for clients.
Chief Retmier is including a budget line item for retirement in the fiscal year 2019
budget.

Three Month Review
Chief Retmier shared that over the last three-month period (July 10th – October 10th) Tri-Town Ambulance has had 141 incidents. During this same three-month period, last year, Tri-Town Ambulance had 150 incidents. The year to date number of runs is 342 as compared to last year which was 328. Chief Retmier credits the increase to better documentation of stand-by calls and refusals.
Allison Graczykowski, Administrative Assistant reviewed the collections to date with the Committee. Collections continue to go well.
The next meeting will be held on November 15th, 2017 12:00 pm at the West Tisbury Fire Station on State Road, West Tisbury.
Committee member Jim Newman motioned to adjourn the meeting at 12:32 pm. and Cynthia Mitchell, Committee member seconded the motion. The motion passed unanimously.
