Chilmark Board of Selectmen March 8, 2017 Meeting Minutes
Present: Chairman Warren Doty, Bill Rossi, Jim Malkin, Tim Carroll, Randhi Belain,
David Rossi, Mark Lovewell, Tim Rich, Chuck Hodgkinson, Joan Malkin, Dan Rossi,
Dan Hanavan, Eric Blake, Paul Manning, Robert Ogden, Frank John, Bruce McNamee, Jonathan Klarèn, Alex Elvin, Edie Prescott and videographer for MVTV.
At 4:00 PM Chairman Doty called meeting to order in the Selectmen’s Meeting Room.
Chairman Doty gave an outline of the process that this meeting will follow. This is a meeting specifically to interview the three finalists for the position of Chilmark Police Chief. Chairman Doty said each applicant will give a brief introduction about themselves. Then each of the selectmen will ask three (same) questions to each of the applicants. After the initial nine questions additional questions may be asked by the Selectmen and the applicant. There will not be questions from the audience. The First Interview will be with Frank John then at 5:00 PM Bruce McNamee and then at 6:00 PM Jonathan Klarèn.
Frank John a Captain of the Seekonk Police Department gave a brief introduction about himself.
Each Selectmen asked questions and Mr. John answered them.
At 5:00 PM Bruce McNamee of the Plymouth Police Department gave a brief introduction about himself. Each Selectmen asked questions and Mr. McNamee answered them.
At 6:00 PM Jonathan Klarèn of the Chilmark Police Department gave a brief introduction about himself. Each Selectmen asked questions and Mr. Klarèn answered them.
