My name is Jen Wanamaker. I am working on the the Travel Channel show, Expedition Unknown with host Josh Gates. We are coming to film on Martha's Vineyard the beginning of August and wanted to inquire about filming
on Lucy Vincent Beach as part of our legends and mysteries in Massachusetts segment.
About the Episode: Josh Gates, host of Travel Channel's number one series, Expedition Unknown will soon find himself in his home state of Massachusetts! As part of an upcoming episode, Josh will be talking about his states' rich history of significant archaeological relics and fantastic local legends. Both of which served to inspire him to explore the world. Now he's a world famous explorer and a member of the prestigious Explorer's Club.
As a late addition segment we understand there is a time crunch; however, we'd love to feature the beautiful cliffs and seascape at Lucy Vincent Beach as a background for filming. We are seeking permission to film a quick straight-to-camera which requires only a small hand held camera and maybe a tripod. The segment would take no more than 1-2 hours to film. The date we'd need to film is August 7.
