Meeting called to order at 4:33 PM
- Carroll, Form A Application, Map 25, Lot 14:
- The Board signed the Form A endorsement letter.
- August 24, 2015 minutes were reviewed. The minutes were approved with changes.
- Ms. Weidner gave an update on the progress of the review and editing of the flowcharts.
- Ms. Malkin suggested that all appointed and elected officials, when first occupying the position, receive the finished flowcharts.
- Meeting with ZBA in October:
- Discussion occurred regarding the upcoming schedule for the meeting with the Zoning Board of Appeals to discuss proposed amendments to the zoning bylaws: historic structures and pools.
- All Island Planning Board Meeting (AIPB, scheduled for Sept. 23, 2015) Agenda DRAFT:
- Discussion occurred regarding the upcoming meeting structure and the topics to be discussed.
- It was determined that a key objective would be to discuss what the goal is of the AIPB.
- Ms. Christy was asked to invite all Planning Boards, Housing entities and members of the MVC and Healthy Aging Initiative and staff from the DCRHA.
- The Board specifically would like to determine what it is that the AIPB may accomplish that would support the efforts of entities already working on island-wide issues.
- The Board brainstormed other island-wide topics besides affordable housing:
- Traffic
- Refuse
- Public beaches
- Composting
- Bike Paths
- Hunting
- Sustainability
- Ms. Malkin noted that the MVC has many of these topics as part of their action plan within the Island Plan.
