Meeting Minutes

Call To Order:
Ms. Weidner called the meeting to order at 4:30 pm
New Business:
Doug Hoehn came before the Board to informally discuss the DeGunsberg property, Leonard Nelson is the current owner, located at Map 20, Lot 28 located off prospect Hill road. Mr. Hoehn described the piece of property having 40’ easement with access off Prospect Hill Road and that the road existed before the subdivision control law. Mr. Hoehn described the wetland delineation and described the road to the Harris property at the bottom of the hill as an 8’ cart path. The discussion revolved around this subdivision as a Form C with improvements to the road as being necessary for subdivision approval.
The board thanked Mr. Hoehn for coming in and they will have the road inspector take a look and bring the information to the next meeting.

Josh Scott:
Josh Scott came in to discuss the Vincent property located off South Road.
Mr. Scott would like to purchase the Vincent property and had an informal discussion concerning the future development possibilities of the property. The Planning Board would require that the access off South Road be sited for safety reason and regarded.
The board had some questions about the remainder of the lots that are still owned by the Vincent Family. How could the town encumber future sales to include a Homesite lot out of the remaining Vincent property?
The Board agreed to ask counsel how they might proceed with this process to allow Mr. Scott to proceed with his plan unencumbered.
Energy Committee:
Mr. Meegan reported that he had spoken with Wendy Weldon, Tyler Studds, Kent Healy and John Flender to be on the Energy Committee to research Wind Energy in Chilmark.
With no more business to discuss, Ms. Weidner adjourned the meeting at 6:30 pm.
