Call To Order:
Janet Weidner, Chair, opened the meeting at 4:35 p.m.
Meeting Minutes
Board reviewed minutes from April 27, 2009 and approved as presented.
New Business:
Atkinson Homesite lot:
Mr. Hoehn presented for an informal discussion the proposed subdivision of property that would create an Affordable Homesite lot located at Map 11, lot 45
WECS:
The board’s discussion concerned the Ocean Management Plan.
Conclusions:
-Noman’s Zoning is under Town of Chilmark Zoning Bylaws
- The board voted unanimously to draft a letter to the MVC urging them to nominate the water from shoreline to the 3 mile federal water demarcation line a DCPC, echoing the County Commissioners letter to the MVC urging the same.
-Abutter Notification for WECS siting:
If a plan is changed after a review, there needs to be a new abutter notification process for the new siting.
-Wind Disctrict: The board would like to have a map that may reliably show where the wind district is and what criteria define this district.
-The Board wouls like to find a reliable way to represent a visualization method, either computer generated or some other method. Please contact Chris Alley for information on this process.
The motion was made to continue the public hearing on WECS until September 28, 2009 at 5:00 pm. Motion was seconded and unanimously approved.
