Library Trustees Meeting Aug. 25, 2009
Present:~ Norman Freed, Jane Slater, Ebba Hierta and Kristin Maloney
Meeting called to order at 9 am
Minutes postponed.
Building and Grounds:~ Ebba reported on meeting with Susan Murphy of~
Friends who has proposed a plan for landscaping around the town~
center.~ She and Michael Van Valkenburg have some ideas to be~
presented to us.
Programs:~ Town nurse is preparing a program for use in Library.
Financial:~ New year begins, no problems
No correspondence
Chairman’s Report:~ Friends have collected more than ever before in~
their annual drive.~ All monies donated will be used for on going~
projects.
Directors Report:~ New library website up and being used and~
appreciated.~ Discussion of Brickner fund.~ Chair will contact family~
and discuss future of funding for that program.
No Friends present.
Next meeting scheduled for Sept. 22.
