Meeting was called to order at 2:35pm
Approved minutes form 12/15/15 CHC meeting.
Discussion of Planning Board Public Hearing on Dec. 14th, 2015. PB meeting continuing to January 11th 2016 at 4:30pm, to amend the Zoning Bylaws of the Town Section 6.9 Homesite Housing.
The draft Rental Housing Application was brought to the table for review. The language of the application was edited to parallel the language in the Homesite Housing Application. Chairman made a motion to approve the Rental Hosing Application; Andy Goldman seconded the motion, all members in favor of approval.
Discussion continued on the application process for Homesite Housing. Chairman scheduled to contact Michael Goldsmith regarding the Chapter 445 Act and the proposed changes to the zoning bylaws that were presented at the PB Public Hearing on Dec. 14, 2015 before the continuation of the PB Public Hearing on Jan. 11th. It was discussed that the Housing Committee members did not want Planning Board and/or Board of Selectmen discussing amendments to Zoning Bylaws without the input or communication of the CHC.
Annual Reports due to the Town February 1, 2016. Chilmark Housing Committee milestones were noted and the Chairman made notes to include in the upcoming Annual Report.
There will be a Budget Hearing Jan. 26, 2016 to discuss increase in the DCRHA operating budget for FY2017. Committee members made plans to attend the upcoming hearing to support the budget approval for DCRHA additional staff.
