Present: Andy Goldman, Chair, Bill Randol, Jim Feiner
Todd Christy, Administrative Assistant
Not Present: Tim Lasker, Roland Kluver, Sheila Muldaur
Call To Order:
Mr. Christy, Administrative Assistant called the meeting to order at 4:34 pm.
Meeting Minutes:
Minutes from April 5, 2010 no quorum to approve
New Business:
- Todd Christy presented the members the list of appointing boards and suggested that they submit letters requesting reappointment.
- A letter was sent to the building inspector requesting that he contact the Housing Committee if, during his review of Homesite House plans, he comes across a plan that is inconsistent with the purpose of affordable housing. This is only as a review so that recipients are aware that they may be over-building the affordability of their home. The committee agreed that the intent is not to hold up an individual’s project with this review process, but to make a simple evaluation of the visual nature and the economics of the proposed dwelling.
- Todd Christy gave the committee an update of recent developments with the DCRHA, as all but Aquinnah have approved their DCRHA money for FY11.
- MLR rental status: Todd updated the committee on the date changes and slight delay on the bidding for MLR Rental Duplex Construction. Todd proposed that the Committee assemble all recipients of MLR Homesite Lots to go through the process of setting up the Home Owners Association and establishing the Road Association. This would help the recipients start this process with guidance and elect officers to each of these Associations before they need to have this all in place. There are Middle Line Road Association, Molly’s Lane Road Association and MLR Home Owners Association to establish. All agreed this was a good project and to make dates to hold a
meeting.
With no other new business to discuss, Mr. Goldman closed the meeting at 5:24 pm.
Minutes respectfully submitted by Todd Christy, Administrative Assistant.
