Other Business:
Chuck Hodgkinson attended a Cape Light Compact Green Affordable Homes Grant Programs seminar. This grant program is being sponsored by LEEDS-H (Leadership in Energy and Engineering Design) and has $1,500,000.00 available for the Cape and Islands. It was estimated that the amount of grant money being offered could fund up to sixty units of housing.
The Housing Committee voted unanimously to complete and file the application packet. Tim Lasker will work with Chuck Hodgkinson to complete the grant applications by March 14, 2007 and April 19, 2007.
Bill Randol asked that a Vote of Confidence be taken in regard to the election of Andy Goldman as Chairman. Mr. Randol was unable to attend the February 22, 2007 meeting, at which Mr Goldman was elected Chairman and wanted to have part in the voting process. Zee Gamson asked for a Vote of Confidence for the election of Andy Goldman as Chairman. Four members voted for, Andy recused and one voted no.
Jim Feiner asked Jonah Maidoff if would be interested in joining the Housing Committee. Mr. Maidoff has agreed to do so.
There was no further business so the meeting was adjourned at 5:45 pm.
