Minutes
Present: Steve Schwab, Zee Gamson, Andy Goldman, Tim Lasker
and Lisa Specht, Administrative Assistant
The Minutes for September 6, 2006 were amended and approved as amended.
Middle Line Road Andy Goldman reviewed the Middle Line project, and the
current plans the architects presented to the Middle
Line Subcommittee.
Russell Walton, a member of the Planning Board, spoke to the
committee about the concern for the preservation of Holman Road.
In earlier discussions Holman Road was to be designated as a
walking path but in the present plan it is also being used as road . into the development.
Steve Schwab discussed the present plans and his concerns of the
process.
Article 1 Article 1 on the Warrant for Special Town Meeting was reviewed.
Tim Lasker discussed the concerns of the Planning Board. The
Planning Board wondered if the construction could be done in
stages rather than all at once. The Planning Board also suggested
having a lottery system that was spread out over six or eight months.
The Town will pick up the costs of the infrastructure. The money
will come from CPA funds.
Zee Gamson discussed the process of the homesite applicants and
that the Guidelines will address these issues more succinctly.
Implementation
Guidelines Congratulations were given to Andy Goldman for his dedication to
this project.
Zee and Andy met with David Vigneault, of Dukes County
Regional Housing Authority, in regard to the Implementation
Guidelines. David had some comments and suggestions for the
document.
The Committee discussed certain sections and possible
changes in the language used.
A question about fine tuning the eligibility/point system section
reviewed.
Change of
Meeting Day It was decided that the Meeting day be changed to the first and third
Tuesday of the month. There will be a Special Meeting to discuss
The Guidelines on Tuesday October 10 at 4:30
The Meeting was adjourned at 6:15 PM
