Housing Committee Minutes
May 3, 2006
7:30p.m.
Present: Steve Schwab, Chair, Zelda Gamson, William Randol, Andy Goldman, Jim Feiner, Josh Scott and Deborah Cini, Administrative Assistant.
Call to Order:
Mr. Schwab called the meeting to order.
The Minutes from April 19, 2006 were approved as written.
Guidelines:
Mr. Walton submitted a memo as to how he sees the Homesite Housing Guidelines developing. A joint meeting of the Planning Board and Housing Committee was suggested to collaborate on the Implementation Guidelines and other issues.
Drafting of letters:
The drafting letters of update to summer residents and a letter to Homesite Housing approved applicants were discussed. It was determined to hold on both letters since a decision on Middle Line Road has not been reached as of yet.
Middle Line Road Update:
Yesterday there was a meeting of members of the Middle Line Road Subcommittee, the IHT, Richard Leonard and John Abrams to discuss the possibility of lowering rents for the project. There will be a meeting of the IHT on Saturday to draft a letter to the Board of Selectmen addressing some of the concerns that were raised.
