Housing Committee Minutes 03/23/05
Housing Committee
Minutes
March 23, 2005
7:30p.m.

Present: Steve Schwab-chair, Zelda Gamson, Jim Feiner, Thaw Malin and Deborah Cini
Public: Richard Osnoss.

Steve Schwab opened the meeting at 7:30p.m. with a letter from Molly Flender resigning from the Housing Committee.  Molly expressed her joy in working with the Housing Committee over the years but feels that it is time to step down. The committee feels that Molly was a driving force behind the Middle Line Road project and will very much be missed.

The minutes from March 9, 2005 were approved as written. The minutes from March 16, 2005 were tabled until the next meeting.

The agenda for the upcoming public hearing was discussed. This upcoming hearing was going to be strictly on financials for the project. It was agreed that the committee should focus more on the positive points of the project. Such as the use of CPA funds and it may not cost the town anything. It was agreed to develop a detailed document with information as to why to develop Middle Line road.  Jim Feiner agreed to work on the Question and Answer document.

Rate of development for Middle Line was discussed and it was not concluded as to develop it all at once or over time.

A plan of action and marketing was developed for Middle Line Road.
