1. KRISHANA COLLINS - TEA LANE FARMHOUSE: The Historical Commission is responsible for overseeing the use of a voter-approved Community Preservation Act Historic Resources appropriation of up to $100,000 that is to be used for the renovation of the historic Tea Lane Farmhouse. There is a specific agreement that outlines the terms and procedures for using this appropriation. Krishana would like to apply for this appropriation to pay for a portion of her total renovation plans for the farmhouse.
2. TOM DUNLOP HISTORIC FILM OF MENEMSHA TRAP FISHING: Tom will be showing us a 10 minute film of several Menemsha trap fisherman from the 1930’s. He would like to see if you can help identify the fishermen and provide some background on Menemsha fishing in the 1930’s.
- MASSACHUSETTS HISTORICAL COMMISSION LETTER: Follow up discussion on responding to the Historical Commission letter requesting updates on 9 historic structures in Chilmark.
- DISCUSS AUGUST 2013 GUEST SPEAKER.
