Joroff, 5 Sarah Brown Lane (7-56)  Mike Renahan reported on a failed sewage disposal system located off Middle Road.  Mike Renahan and Marina Lent will conduct a site visit in the coming week.

Madoff, 16 Nickerson Farm Lane (21-9.3)   Reid Silva came to the Board with new information regarding the renovation discussed at the Board meeting of August 3rd:  It appears that the house in question, on lot 9.3, was permitted for four bedrooms.  The house on Lot 9.2 was the 3 bedroom septic permit examined by the Board at its last meeting.  The Board reviewed the information presented by Reid Silva, and located the four-bedroom sewage disposal construction permit for the four-bedroom house in question.

Walsh, 320 Middle Road (25-11)  Marina Lent updated the Board on the well installation at the Walsh residence: John Clark has been in touch with Barbara Walsh and is prepared to drill a well when he receives a deposit for the job.  The Board instructed Marina Lent to contact Mike Goldsmith to initiate legal enforcement of the court’s decision regarding a well on this property.

Mayhew, 15 Clam Point Cove Road (33-95), An as-built letter and plan have been received, and the certificate of compliance has been issued.

Pachico, 7 Ridge Hill Road (11-47.3) Title 5 inspection report received -- passes

Eisner, 4 Old North Road (26-121) sewage ejector pump inspection letter received; as-built for the system is not yet on file.

Temporary Food Permits:  Marina Lent reported that the pie stand that has been operating without a permit opposite the entrance to the Chilmark Flea Market on Wednesday afternoons was shut down until such time as the operators can obtain a permit from the Board of Health.

Dairy water/yoghurt testing results   DEP drinking water test results for Mermaid Farm and Dairy and Grey Barn Farm pass.  Yoghurt bacterial testing (Mermaid) also passes.

Invoices:  The following invoices were approved for payment:

  • VNA July 2011  $836.00
  • Wampanoag Environmental Lab  -- CCC water sample  $25
  • Wampanoag Environmental Lab – Town Hall water samples  $50

The meeting adjourned at 18:45 hours.
