Chilmark Road Race The Board reviewed the sanitation and trash removal plans submitted by Hugh Weisman.
Jacqueline Carlin Melcher vs. Chilmark Board of Health The Board acknowledged a letter from Robert M. McCarron, Esquire, confirming that the motion for reconsideration from Jacqueline Carlin Melcher was denied by the County of Dukes County, Superior Court on May 22, 2007.
Josh Weisner (31-9.3) The Board approved this well permit application.
Robert & Francis Labaree (21-36 & 37) This disposal works hearing has been continued to July 25, 2007
at 5:15 PM.
William & Julie Coleman (17-41) This emergency disposal works application for a three (3) bedroom residential dwelling was approved.
Brookside Farm (6-2) The Board approved a repair to add a manhole riser on the cesspool. Doug Cooper inspected this system and submitted a report, that passed. The owner is remodeling the bedroom area, there is no change in bedroom count or flow. The bedroom count is four (4). Sylvia will confirm by doing a bedroom count on site.
Jan Buhrman/Rich Osnoss (12-68) The Board approved a tent permit for this parcel.
Quitsa Cuisine Catering Katie took a caterers report form for Quitsa Cuisine (operate out of Aquinnah).
Ernest & Leslie Weiss (13-9.10) A septic inspection report was submitted by Doug Cooper which passes, however, the report and septic design on file confirm this is a three (3) bedroom residential dwelling, but the permit is recorded as four (4) bedrooms with 440 gpd flow. A call has been placed to the engineer, Doug Dowling. We are waiting for an explanation from Mr. Dowling.
Barbara Brewster (11-85) Reid Silva asked to do an out-of-season perc at this parcel, the Board denied this request at this time.
Howard Hillman (7-57) Reid Silva asked to do an out-of-season perc at this parcel, and it was approved by the Board.
Kenneth Iscol (33-100) Reid Silva asked to do an out-of-season perc at this parcel, the Board denied this request
at this time.
Wallace Baker (8-18,52, 53, 54 &55) The Board approved a revision to disposal works permit # 6-44 for a two bedroom residential dwelling (guest house). The owner is relocating the septic tank and pump chamber to serve the two bedroom dwelling instead of building an addition to the existing barn. The hand sink in the barn will be removed.
The Board asked Sylvia to call John Clarke regarding the potability testing of Martha Flanders well
(30-79.3).
Allan Holt (24-33.2) The Board asked Sylvia to check septic capacity on this dwelling.
