Attendees: Mike Renahan, Katie Carroll, Jan Buhrman, Sylvia Yeomans, Kent Healy, Reid Silva, Chris Alley, Warren Doty

Middle Line Road Project (13-43) B The Board reviewed the preliminary Form B application for this parcel.  It appears the engineer=s representation of the soils is adequate for a sub-division.  The septic system designs and well locations will need to be presented to the Board of Health in their actual locations for final approval.  The Board reviewed a letter received from Blair and Diane Emin.  The Emins have serious concerns about the building separations from their property.

Nick Bologna (24-163.4) B The Board approved this disposal works application for a six (6) bedroom residential house.

Gary Maynard (8-50.2) B The Board approved this revision of disposal works permit # 7-01 for a three (3) bedroom house with a one (1) bedroom garage.

Seven Gates Farm & Cutler (1-10) B The Board approved this replacement well application.  The existing well must be properly abandoned.

McDonough Family Kitchen B James McDonough is requesting a permit to sell at the Farmer=s Market.  He would like to do his food preparation at the Beach Plum Inn on Tuesday mornings.  The Board is ok with this arrangement with the following conditions; 1) We must received a letter from the owners of the Beach Plum Inn confirming they have authorized this use of the kitchen.  2) A list of products and ingredients must be submitted for approval.  The Board has authorized Sylvia to check all paperwork, it is not necessary for Mr. McDonough to meet with the Board of Health.

The Cornerway Restaurant B The Board approved a food establishment permit renewal.

Menemsha Café B A letter will be sent to the Menemsha Café informing them that they can not exceed 19 seats because they do not provide a public restroom.  A letter will be sent to Everett Poole to inform him that the septic system may need upgrading.  Mr. Poole will be asked if he can assist the Board of Health in determining what septic capacity he has.  Sylvia will research pump out permits for this lot.

The Galley, Inc. B A letter will be sent to the Galley informing them of the 19 seat regulation.  It appears that they may have exceeded the number of seats allowed.

The Home Port, Inc. (27.1-84 & 85) B A letter will be sent to Will Holtham explaining it appears that the existing septic system is legally overextended for its current use.  The Board would like to meet with Mr. Holtham to determine what modifications are necessary to make his septic system Title 5 compliant.

Sylvia will discuss the problem of the floor drains with Larsen=s Fish Market, and All Island Seafood.

John Zeisel (22-11) B The Board discussed the renovation of this house to a 6 bedroom septic system.  The Board is still waiting for the submission of a proposed floor plan prior to making a determination.
