August 16, 2006

The minutes of August 2, 2006 were approved.
David Heilbroner (17-9, 10, 11) B The Board reviewed an upgrade disposal works application for a four (4) bedroom septic system. The Board wants the engineer to relocate the leaching area to the same parcel as the house it is serving.
Rosemallow Farm Trust (24-33.2) B The Board approved this disposal works revision to permit #6-41, relocating the leaching area for this eight (8) bedroom residential dwelling.
David Kloss (4-23.3) B The Board approved this disposal works application for an eight (8) bedroom residential dwelling. The construction permit will be held until the well completion report is received.
Heidi Riggs (25-142 & 7.4) B The Board denied out-of-season test holes for this parcel.
John Zeisel (22-11) B The Board denied out-of-season test holes for this parcel.
Donald Sexton (26-66.3) B The Board approved out-of-season test holes to relocate the leaching area of this disposal works permit #4-36 for a six (6) bedroom residential dwelling.
Roseline Glazer (21-78) B The Building Inspector has approved the building of two (2) full size houses on this parcel. The Board has asked Sylvia to research the separation to the coastal district.
Home Port, Inc. B The Board signed a letter regarding the seating capacity at this restaurant. They have informed the owner of the 150 maximum seating capacity, and have instructed him to assure this is not exceeded.
The Board has instructed Sylvia to research the town regulations regarding weddings and special events held at private residences.
Murphy c/o Seven Gates Farm (3-60) B The Board has requested a formal order be drafted to cease occupancy at this dwelling based on the owners non-compliance with Title V. A letter was issued via certified mail on May 24, 2006 which gave a 60 day deadline (July 30, 2006) to upgrade this failed septic system.
The Board requested that Sylvia contact DEP and inform them that Menemsha Water is no longer in seasonal operation. It is operating year round and water samples should be taken quarterly.
Sylvia will ask the Squibnocket Advisory Committee if they are testing Squibnocket Pond.

The Board instructed Sylvia to draft a letter to the Park and Recreation Committee regarding their desire to participate in any discussions concerning the trash in Menemsha.
Sylvia informed the Board that a formal request has been submitted to the Board of Selectmen requesting a Warrant Article for the Town Meeting regarding a Mutual Aid Agreement.
The following septic inspections were received:
Clark Nominee Trust (35-38) - passes Stanley Panitz (11-16.1) - passes
Jane Weingarten (7-73) - passes Jonathan Leavy (24-36) - passes
James Calvert (21-15) - needs further evaluation - waiting for a well water analysis report.

The following invoices were submitted and approved:
