Chilmark Board of Health Minutes

Attendees: Mike Renahan, Katie Carroll, Sylvia Yeomans, Michael & Denise Scranton, Reid Silva
The Board approved minutes of October 19, 2005.
Pepperbush Farm Trust (13-6.1) B The Board signed a denial letter for a septic design for this property.
Douglas Sacks (24-209 &216) B The Board approved this disposal works application.
Denise & Michael Scranton (20-62) B The Board determined this septic permit #77-12 to be a total of three (3) bedrooms.
Ron Nagengast (13-6.3) B The Board reviewed a note from Mr. Nagengast in response to their septic upgrade letter dated October 17, 2005. Mr. Nagengast explained that the repair work had already been done by Jay=s Septic and he did not realize he needed a construction permit to do the
work. The Board instructed Sylvia to call him and explain that Jay=s Septic does not have a permit to install or repair septic systems in Chilmark, and that a state septic inspector must inspect the work done before they can pass this septic inspection.
Mark London & Linda Thompson (20-55) B The Board confirmed the water line location for this parcel and will release the construction permit for the replacement of the septic tank.
Jeff Herman (3-26) B The Board asked Sylvia to call Mike Ciancio, Plumbing Inspector, and find out if plumbing is on the building application, and what does Aplumbing@ on the application include?
Martha=s Vineyard Refuse District B The Board asked Sylvia to research what is included in the line item of Adrop-off operation@ on the MV Refuse District budget.
