HUMAN RESOURCE BOARD of CHILMARK
Minutes
May 3, 2012

Members Present:  Frank LoRusso, Chair, Jennie Greene, Steve Lewenberg, Chuck Hodgkinson, Staff Representative, Jonathan Mayhew, BOS Representative
Members not present: Steve Schwab, Max McCreery
Staff: Tim Carroll, Exec. Secretary, Jennifer Christy, Administrative Assistant
Others: Ben Retmier, TriTown

The meeting began at 8:05 AM.

Tri Town Clerical Asst. Job Description:
Discussion re position description and the changes desired. Tri Town wants a person who can go on “runs” as well as do clerical work.
Change VI, Letter A to “required” from “preferred”
Instead of “Coordinator”, use the term “Chief”.
Asst. will remain a Grade 6 which is the current grade, the same as an EMT.
Ms. Greene made a motion to accept the changes to the clerical asst. job description. Mr. Lewenberg  seconded. All ayes.

Selectman Representative:
Bill Rossi will serve as BOS representative

Jonathan Mayhew and Ben Retmier leave meeting.

New Member:
No discussion.

Next Meeting Discussion:
Next meeting, May 17th, will be cancelled.
A meeting may be scheduled for May 24, 2012. Otherwise, the next meeting will be June 7, 2012.

Minutes from previous meetings were reviewed.
April 19, 2012 Draft Minutes: Ms. Greene made a motion to approve as presented. Mr. Lewenberg seconded. All ayes.

Executive Session:
Ms. Greene made a motion to enter into executive session with the intention of returning to open session afterwards with the purpose to review the April 19, 2012 Draft Executive Session Minutes. Motion was seconded by Mr. Lewenberg. Roll call vote was taken. F. LoRusso: Aye, J. Greene: Aye, S. Lewenberg: Aye.
Executive session began at 8:26 AM.
Executive session adjourned at 8:57 AM.

Classification Manual:
Used new classification manual to assess Deputy Ambulance Chief, grade 10.


With no other business to attend to, the meeting was adjourned at 9:35 AM
