Conservation Commission Minutes 12/21/05
FINAL

Present for the Conservation Commission and attending the meeting were:  Pam Goff, David Flanders, Pam White, Bruce Bartels, Ray Kellman, Associate Commissioner Russell Maloney, Rusty Walton, Conservation Officer and Chuck Hodgkinson.  Also attending:  Bart Thorpe.  Absent:  Richard Steves.

Pam Goff opened the meeting at 1:30 PM as acting Chair in Richard Steves’ absence.

COHEN NOI SE12 – 500; AP 30, 106.2:  The public hearing on this application closed on December 7th.  The vote was postponed awaiting receipt of the DEP file number.  A motion to approve the Order of Conditions to replace a well, water line and bury an electric line was made, seconded and unanimously approved.

BLUM TRUST CERTIFICATE OF COMPLIANCE SE12 – 478; AP 20, 58 & 59:  Bart Thorpe reviewed the as built site survey dated 12/21/05 and pointed out the elevated trail through the wetland is about 80 feet shorter than originally planned.  The Conservation Officer reported on his site inspection made earlier in the day and commented that the final trail location is an improvement over the original plan.  With no further discussion a motion to approve the Certificate of Compliance was made, seconded and voted with four in favor and two abstentions (Messrs. Flanders and Maloney).

SIGNATURES:  The Cohen Order of Conditions and Blum Trust Certificate of Compliance were signed and notarized.

MINUTES:  The December 7, 2005 meeting minutes were reviewed.  A motion to approve the minutes as presented was made, seconded and unanimously voted in favor.

ADMINISTRATION:  Mr. Walton informed the Commission that the amnesty authorization was received from the DEP for the Chilmark portion of Lynn and Sue Murphy’s dock in Menemsha Basin.
With no further business to conduct the meeting adjourned at 1:50 PM.
