  • 12:30 PM:  SITE VISIT 12:00 PM:  PUBLIC HEARING NOI SE 12 – 839; REID SILVA FOR KEVIN AND ELIZABETH OLIVER; 139 Tea Lane; Map 3 Lot 1 (Trina’s property):  Redevelop an existing lot.  A pre-existing, 3-bedroom 788 sq. ft. house located within a wetland will be removed and the area restored.  An existing 375 sq. ft. studio located within the 100-foot buffer zones of a wetland and man-made pond will be removed.  An existing 1,400 sq. ft. driveway located in a buffer zone and a wetland will be abandoned and re-vegetated.  A total of 2,563 sq. ft. of structure and driveway will be removed from the wetland and wetland buffer zone.  A new 3-bedroom house, garage and sunroom with a 1,600 sq. ft. footprint are proposed and located within the 100-foot buffer zones of the wetland and pond.  The closest sections of this structure are 13 feet from the wetland edge and 50 feet from the pond.  A new well and a high-capacity infiltrator bed septic system are also proposed.  The well is in the buffer zone and 14 feet from the wetland edge.  The leach field is in the buffer zone and 53 feet from the wetland edge.  
  • CERTIFICATE OF COMPLIANCE SE 12- 804; EZRA SHERMAN FOR JACK DAVIES;     12 Stone Ridge; AP 25-135:  An Order was issued in December 2017 to build an addition and outdoor shower approximately 45 feet from a wetland edge.  Additional wetland protections and landscaping were conditioned in additiona to the work site.  Recommend the project is in full compliance.

NOI JOSHUA BAKER OF SBH FOR SPENCER THURLOW; 25 State Rd.; AP 30-79.3:  Tear down an existing one-bedroom dwelling located within the 100 foot buffer zones of a wetland that drains into Chilmark Pond and the Mill Brook that also drains into Chilmark Pond.  The closest part is 10 feet from the wetland edge.  Three sheds, one of which is located within the wetland will be removed.  All work is also within the first 100 feet of the Mill Brook Riverfront Area.  A new one-bedroom dwelling, deck, shed and buried utilities installation are proposed within the same buffer zones and Riverfront resource areas.  The existing well and septic system will be used.  Approximately 3,000 sq. ft. of already-disturbed Riverfront Area will be altered.  The closest portions of the proposed construction are 14 feet from the wetland edge and 40 feet from the Mill Brook.  No new construction will take place within the wetland.  

RDA JOSEPH DICK FOR DOUG LIMAN; 34 Blacksmith Valley Rd.; AP 35-38:  Remove a pre-existing garage abutting a stone wall and roadway and replace it with an antique post and beam structure on a fieldstone foundation.  The footprint and location will not change.  The attached tool shed will remain and not be refurbished.  The activity is approximately 170 feet from a wetland draining into a coastal pond and 200 feet from a perennial stream.  The project is in the Squibnocket Pond District.
