  • CONTINUED PUBLIC HEARING NOI SE 12 - 768; REID SILVA FOR JEROME         12:30 PM
P. & CAROL B. KENNEY; 45 Beach Rd.; AP 2-3:  Eligible voters:  Candy, Joan, Pam, Chris, Maureen, Russell.  Restore an inland ecological resource by removing approximately 2,400 sq. ft. of aquatic nuisance vegetation to retard eutrophication of a fresh water pond and to protect wildlife habitat.  A hydro-rake will be used for the work.  All vegetation and root matter will be disposed of at an upland location.

  • PUBLIC MEETING RFD ROB FULLER FOR BOB VILA AND DIANA                    12:45 PM BARRETT; 183 State Rd.; AP 33-115:  Install an array of four tracking solar panels one of which is within the 100 foot buffer zone of a Bordering Vegetated Wetland.  Each panel will be supported by one pole anchored in the ground.  The buried power lines from each panel will be trenched to the junction at the garage.  To allow for panel rotation the vegetation surrounding each will be hand pruned in a 25-foot diameter around each panel pole and a height no lower than three feet above grade.  The closest activity is approximately 60 feet from the wetland edge.
  • CERTIFICATE OF COMPLIANCE SE 12 – 206; RICHARD SCHEUER AND AMY COHEN; 267 State Rd.; AP 33-5:  An Order was issued for a fixed pier into Quitsa Pond in 1993.  The pier has a Chapter 91 license.  Recommend an on-going condition allowing future maintenance provided the plans are reviewed with the Commission or Conservation Agent before work begins.
