  • CONTINUED PUBLIC HEARING NOI SE 12 - 759; DANIEL PADIEN FOR             12:10 PM
SQUIBNOCKET      FARM, INC.; off Squibncoket Rd. and Squibnocket Farm Rd.; AP 35-1.30, 17.3, 17.4, 21, 22, 23:  (Referred to MVC – No vote today; Eligible voters: Sandy, Candy, Joan, Chris, Pam and Russell)  The applicant would like to do the following managed retreat of the existing access road to the homeowner’s residences caused by natural erosion and the northward migration of the shoreline.  Construct a new access roadway originating at Squibnocket Road to the north and intersecting with Squibnocket Farm Road -- west of the current security gate.  A combination of a filled road will with turnouts will lead from Squibnocket Road and Squibnocket Farm Road and intersect with a raised causeway over the wetland resource areas.  The raised causeway will be modeled after the current Menemsha drive-on dock.  The existing buried utilities running underneath the current Town parking lot will be removed.  The new utility lines will run under the new filled road sections and through conduit located within the pre-cast concrete deck of the raised causeway.

TARA MARDEN FOR FOOL’S HIGH TIDE, LLC; 25 East Lane; AP 32-68.1:  (Eligible voters: Sandy, Candy, Pam, Joan, Chris, Russell and Bob) Review questions and answers.  This is a submission of the plan for the DEP’s Superseding Order of Conditions to protect the existing single-family residence that is approximately 82 feet from the top of the coastal bank.  The proposal is intended to be a storm buffer to the coastal bank.  It adds 1600 cubic yards of cobble to construct a berm above mean high water and an additional 650 cubic yards of sand on top of the cobble.  The berm will run the entire length of the property (415 linear feet). The total project area is            17,450 sq. ft.

  • PUBLIC HEARING NOI SE 12 - 762; REID SILVA FOR FREDERICK KHEDOURI;      1:10 PM
10 Harbor Hill; AP 27.1-101: Construct an 8’ X 4’ addition to the existing pier deck; install a new six inch thick concrete retaining wall against the coastal bank; support the cottage with poured concrete footings instead of pre-cast footings; inspect and if needed replace the existing septic holding tank.  If a new tank is needed it be placed behind the building in a different location; trench new electric service to the stairway and run the power in conduit under the stairway to the cottage.  The existing overhead line will be removed.  The activity will alter approximately 3 linear feet of a coastal bank and will temporarily disturb land within 15 feet above mean tide.

  • PUBLIC HEARING NOI SE 12 – ???; REID SILVA FOR DEBORAH HANCOCK        1:15 PM              490 & 500 North Rd.; AP 27.1-213:  Remove an existing shed located in a Bordering Vegetated Wetland and build a new 12’ X 20’ shed in a buffer zone and within a Riverfront Area.  The new shed is approximately 45 feet from the wetland edge and is within the first 100 feet of the Riverfront Zone.
  • RFD REID SILVA FOR NANCY NITCHIE; 165 State Rd.; AP 33-112:  Drill a new water well and trench a new water line and power to the dwelling.  The new well is approximately 65 feet from a wetland edge.
  • CONTINUED PUBLIC HEARING NOI SE 12 - 760; GEORGE SOURATI FOR            1:30 PM  MATHEW CESTAR; 12 Hill Land; AP 32-40:  (Eligible voters:  Sandy, Pam, Bob, Joan, Chris and Russell)  Renovate the single-family residence; renovate the existing garage, install 4 dry wells with required underground plumbing, install a new septic system and a new water well and remove an existing fence bordering a stream.  The resources affected are the buffer zones of a Perennial Stream, the 1st 100-feet of the Riverfront zone, Bordering Vegetated Wetland draining into a coastal pond, Coastal Bank of Stonewall Pond, 100-year flood zone for Stonewall Pond.  The closest proposed limit of work extends to the wetland edge and 5 feet from the stream.
