RFD Gene Bergeron for Gordon Bunting; 3 Marjo’s Way; AP 27-9: This is in response to an Enforcement Order issued for clearing done within the 100-foot buffer zone of the Menemsha Pond shoreline. The applicant would like to stabilize the first 25 feet of land from the pond shoreline by adding a few additional rows of Rosa Rugosa (approximately 6 feet deep) to the existing Rosa Rugosa that is closer to the shoreline; periodically cut invasive Phragmites; maintain and periodically mow the existing re-planted lawn of Cape Cod seed mix and little blue stem. No fertilizers will be used. The closest point of the activity is approximately 25 feet from the edge of the pond.
