CONSERVATION COMMISSION AGENDA 3/20/13 @ 12:30 PM

1. RFD REID SILVA FOR JAMIE ATKINS; 80 State Rd.; AP 30-6: 12:30 PM Repair and maintain the existing roadway from State Road to the house. Gravel hardener will be placed on top of the existing road surface and compacted. The road surface will be crowned to shed water runoff. The road will be maintained periodically to fill in ruts and restore the crown. A section of the roadway edge abuts Bordering Vegetated Wetlands on both sides.
2. RFD DOUG DOWLING FOR TOM LANGMAN; 8 Salt Meadows; AP 21-52.2: 12:35 PM Add a shed roof dormer and re-roof and re-shingle an existing dwelling that is located in the buffer zone of a Bordering Vegetated Wetland. He would also like to build a 20’ X 12’ tool shed in the buffer zone of a Bordering Vegetated Wetland. The shed is approximately 73 feet from the wetland edge.

LUCY BEACH, LLC; 11 Azalea Lane; AP 29-7: This is in response to a Positive Determination of Applicability. Reconfigure the outside decking; relocate the spa and change the garden and slate patio for the single-family residence. All of the work is in the 100-foot buffer zone of a Bordering Vegetated Wetland. The closest activity is 13 feet from the wetland edge.
Discuss unpermitted activity: concrete and stone walkway to the pond; planter on the east side of the house; A/C condensers, propane tank and wood shed that are in the wetland on the north side of the house.
4. DISCUSSION SE 12 – 661; JOSH KOCHIN OF LANDSCOPE FOR BLUE SKY MV, LTD. (BLUE HERON FARM); AP 11-23.3: Review the final landscape plan for the previously approved built-in swimming pool Order of Conditions.
- DISCUSSION COASTAL ENGINEERING FOR NATALIE CONROY; SE 12 – 680; 22 Greenhouse lane; AP 33-33: Discuss Condition # 4 of the 2/20 denial to relocate the structures: Within 30 days the Owner shall provide a specific plan to remove the abandoned materials on the beach and coastal bank along with a plan and recommended timing to remove all structures, related infrastructure with a ground stabilization plan.
6. POSSIBLE DISCUSSION TEA LANE NURSERY FOR SWB LIMITE PARTNERSHIP 8 GREENHOUSE LANE (SE 12 – 630) AND ROCKEFELLER 16 GREENHOUSE LANE (SE 12 – 536): Maintenance plans to stabilize the coastal bank with coir logs, 2:1 sand: clay sediment, jute netting and beach grass plugs.
