CONSERVATION COMMISSION AGENDA 11/14/12 @ 12:30 PM
Site Visits took place on November 13 @ 12:30 PM.

1.      PUBLIC HEARING AMENDED NOI SE 12 – 527; GEORGE SOURATI  12:30 PM FOR ROGERS & ESTHER BRANDON; Old Fields Path; AP 16-7.3:  Propose a second amendment to the Order of Conditions issued on 12/6/2006 and amended on 11/7/2008.  The proposed amendment seeks permission to expand and maintain the land management plan to open an additional view channel and apply Rodeo aquatic-safe herbicide to all cut tree stumps.  

2.      CONTINUEDPUBLIC HEARING SE 12 – 670; REID SILVA FOR             12:40 PM 3 SDS, LLC; 11 Round Pond Road; AP 35-1.4:   Eligible voters:  Pam, Wesley, Donald and Sandy:  Review the details for the landscape planting beds, ground-level deck walkway,  proposed walking path and the pergola that are in the 100-foot buffer zone of an isolated wetland.  

The discussion was concluded on the request to install a new domestic water supply well with trenching for the related power and water supply line and additional trenching for the installation of the gravity foundation drain pipe.  This work is in the 200-foot buffer zone of a Bordering Vegetated Wetland that drains into Squibnocket Pond.  Silt fencing and hay bales will be installed to protect the wetlands.  A mini-bobcat will be used for the drainage pipe trenching.  The trench will be re-vegetated when filled in.

3.      CONTINUED PUBLIC HEARING NOI SE 12 - 668; GEORGE SOURATI        12:50 PM FOR SWB LIMITED PARTNERSHIP; 8 Greenhouse Lane; Map 33 Lot 30:       Eligible voters:  Pam, Sandy, Wesley, Donald, Joan.  Renovate and build an addition to the main residence and relocate part of the existing driveway.  The addition consists of 80 sq. ft. of living space for a mud room; 109 sq. ft. of covered porch and 166 sq. ft. of wooden decks.  The activity takes place within the 100-foot buffer zone of the Atlantic Ocean Coastal Bank and within the 200-foot Riverfront Zone.  The closest activity is within four feet of the top of the Coastal Bank.

4.      DISCUSS HURRICANE SANDY COASTAL DAMAGE:
        -  Natalie Conroy; AP 33-33.
        -  Squibnocket Beach Parking lot and causeway.

5.      DISCUSS RICHARD COLEMAN CR; AP 18 – 92.2, 92.3:  Review the proposed changes dictated by the Commonwealth to the original CR that was approved on October 4, 2011.
