  • CONTINUED HEARING NOI SE 12 – 659 GEORGE SOURATI FOR    12:30 PM
GRIN ACRES FAMILY LIMITED PARTNERSHIP; 15 Nickerson Farm Lane;        AP 21 – 10, 12, 13.  Eligible Voters:  Pam, Sandy, Donald, Wesley:  This is a response to the Enforcement Order issued on 12/28/11 for clearing near a perennial stream, in a wetland and buffer zone.  

The application seeks to restore previously disturbed wetland and buffer zone resource areas and remove and replace an existing asphalt driveway with a concrete surface and a water runoff drainage trench with crushed stone.  The driveway and trench are approximately ten feet from a wetland edge at the closest point.

5 Shotnaigher Lane; Map 34 Lot 1.1:  Renovate an existing single-family dwelling, add a bathroom and reconfigure the driveway and parking area with associated site work.  The work is within the 100-foot buffer zones of several Bordering Vegetated Wetlands.  The closest activity is 25 feet from a wetland edge.

        18 Greenhouse Lane; Map 33 Lot 32:  Stabilize the Atlantic Ocean Coastal Bank by:  1.   Brush cutting along the top of the bank for equipment access.  2.  Install 3 courses of coir logs.  A walk-behind bobcat will be used to prepare the lower course.  A white sand fill will be used to build up the grades for beach grass planting.

4.       NOI SE 12 – 662 GEORGE SOURATI FOR ROBERT LABAREE;             12:50 PM
Menemsha Inn Rd.; AP 21 – 38.2.  Build and maintain a beach stairway down the Vineyard Sound Coastal Bank for year-round use.  A four-foot wide walking path from the planned site for a new single-family residence to the stairway is also proposed.  The walkway is in the 100-foot buffer zone of the coastal bank.  A driveway, water well with trenching and buried utility lines for the proposed new house are also planned.  This activity is within a 100-foot buffer zone of a Bordering Vegetated Wetland and in the second 100-foot section of the Riverfront Zone.
