  • CONTINUED HEARING NOI SE 12 - 646; REID SILVA FOR BLUFF HOUSE   12:30 PM
DYNASTY REALTY TRUST; 78 Squibnocket Ridge; AP 35-1.1:  Eligible voters:  Pam, Sandy, Dick, Donald, Wesley, Caitlin:  Expand the existing single-family dwelling by a total of 1,760 sq. ft.  The expansion includes an addition to the main house and a new, larger garage.  A new 888 sq. ft. wrap around porch is also proposed.  All of the proposed work is in the 100-foot buffer zones of several Bordering Vegetated Wetlands.  The closest activity is approximately 55 feet from the wetland edges.

2.  RFD JOHN KEENE FOR PAUL MAYHEW; 1 Sassafras Lane;                      12:40 PM AP 26-139:  Remove the existing drainage culvert that runs under the existing driveway and parallel to Menemsha Crossroad and replace it with a new culvert.  The activity is within a 100-foot buffer zone of a Bordering Vegetated Wetland and approximately 120 feet from a perennial stream that runs through a concrete culvert under Menemsha Crossroad.  

3. CONTINUED HEARING NOI SE 12 - 645; REID SILVA FOR PAUL                  12:45PM  DI MAURA; 26 Basin Road; AP 27.1-125,126:  Eligible voters:  Pam, Sandy, Dick, Donald, Wesley (not Caitlin):  Expand the existing single-family dwelling; install a new, larger septic system and install a new buried water line.  The existing septic leach pit will be filled and abandoned.  Several retaining walls are proposed.  All of the proposed work is in the 100-foot buffer zone of a Bordering Vegetated Wetland or within the 100-foot buffer zone of a coastal bank.  The closest activity is approximately 62 feet from the wetland edge and 75 feet from the top of the Menemsha Basin Coastal Bank.  The work will be done on a total of 0.3-acres of land.

4.  NOI SE 12 - ???; RUSSELL SMITH FOR DONALD SMITH; 16 Harbor             1:00 PM  Hill Rd.; AP 27.1-104:  Repair and improve an existing septic system.  Hay Bales and silt fencing will be installed between the excavation and Menemsha Basin.  The work is in the 100-foot buffer zone of Menemsha Basin.  The closest activity is 43 feet from the water’s edge.

5.  NOI SE 12 – 650; CHRIS ALLEY FOR RICHARD LOCHRIDGE;             1:10 PM
2 Stone Ridge; AP 25-130:  Construct a detached bedroom in the buffer zone of a Bordering Vegetated Wetland.  The closest activity is 63 feet from the wetland edge.
