CONSERVATION COMMISSION AGENDA 3/7/12 @ 12:30 PM

1.  RFD MATT DIX FOR MV LAND BANK; off Tea Lane; AP 12-4.1, 38.2                12:30 PM                                  Construct a 1000 sq. ft., 3-car trailhead off Tea Lane in the buffer zone of a Bordering Vegetated Wetland.  The  parking area will be 50 feet from the wetland edge.  In addition, an existing bar-way will be relocated to an upland location.  This will greatly reduce the impact on a wetland.  A proposed 200 ft. connector trail is proposed and run along the the field edge.   The trail is in the buffer zone of a Bordering Vegetated Wetland.  The closest section of the connector trail will be    10 feet from the wetland edge.  

2.  NOI SE 12 - ???; REID SILVA FOR ROSE MORNING GLORY LLC;             12:40 PM                           Wequobsque Rd.; AP 30-113:  Relocate an existing dwelling away from an eroding coastal bank and remove the existing foundation and septic tank.  The current structure and septic tank are within the 100-foot buffer zone of the coastal bank.  The proposed new location for the dwelling is within an area identified as potential habitat for endangered state-listed species and wildlife.

3.  NOI SE 12 - ???; REID SILVA FOR DAVID & JOAN BOYD; 80 State Rd.;    12:50 PM  AP 30-6:  Abandon and fill the existing cesspools that are approximately 44 feet from the edge of a Bordering Vegetated Wetland.  Install a new, upgraded septic system in a location that is 90 feet from the edge of a Bordering Vegetated Wetland.

4.  RFD REID SILVA FOR STEVE BRODERICK AND ALEC GALE; Basin Rd. 12:55 PM AP 21-1.5:  Install and maintain a 1500 gallon underground holding tank between the existing building and the paved surface of Basin Road.  The location is approximately 50 feet from Dutcher Dock and in the Menemsha Basin buffer zone.  

5.  CONTINUED NOI SE 12 - 645; REID SILVA FOR PAUL DI MAURA;            1:00 PM                                26 Basin Road; AP 27.1-125,126:  Expand the existing single-family dwelling; install a new, larger septic system and install a new buried water line.  The existing septic leach pit will be filled and abandoned.  Several retaining walls are proposed.  All of the proposed work is in the 100-foot buffer zone of a Bordering Vegetated Wetland or within the 100-foot buffer zone of a coastal bank.  The closest activity is approximately 62 feet from the wetland edge and 75 feet from the top of the Menemsha Basin Coastal Bank.  The work will be done on a total of 0.3-acres of land.

6.  DISCUSSION: JOSH KOCHIN AND TOM TATE FOR ADAM ZOIA; Point Inner Way; AP 33-114:  Discuss request to lower A/C condensers for the main house below grade—in the 100-foot buffer zone of the fresh water pond.
