Present for the Community Preservation Committee (CPC) and attending the meeting were: Pam Goff, Chairman, Andy Goldman, Jane Slater, Lisa Burkin, Tim Carroll, Bill Rossi, Allen Healy and Chuck Hodgkinson. Warren Doty and John Eisner did not attend.
The meeting came to order at 6:00 PM.
Review responses to August 10 appeal to all town boards for CPA fund requests.
Mr. Carroll pointed out several parcels of land in Menemsha as acquisition possibilities with Open Space preservation funds. The Committee discussed each and how the parcel fills a Town existing need and might be used by the public as open space. It was felt one of the most important needs is using open space preservation funds in a way that provides public access to the water—much like the newly expanded $200,000, 99-year Squibnocket Beach lease. The Committee took the information under advisement and thanked Mr. Carroll bringing this forward.
Review CPA fund balances. Chuck H. distributed an itemized schedule of all CPA fund investments from 2001 to present and the current reserve fund balances. The Committee suggested including the schedule in this year’s annual report.

Public Hearing for any CPA fund requests submitted for the April 2017 Annual Town Meeting.

The April 20, 2016 meeting minutes were reviewed and approved as presented by consensus.
