- Meeting minutes: Review September 21, 2016 meeting minutes.
- Open Public Hearing:
There will be a public hearing Wednesday, October 19, 2016 at 6:00 pm at the Chilmark Town Hall to discuss and receive public comment on five regional Community Preservation Act funding requests that are under consideration for the April 2017 Annual Town Meeting. The MV Museum is seeking to renew the unspent 2014 voter approved $31,512 Historic Preservation fund appropriation to replace the cedar roof and repair the chimney on the Marine Hospital; TRI Economic and Community services is seeking $82,600 of Affordable Housing funds. $12,600 for administration expenses and $70,000 for deferred forgivable loans for home improvements for income qualified Chilmark residents; The West Tisbury School is seeking $17,400 of Park & Recreation funds as Chilmark’s
share of the $70,030 cost to renovate the outdoor basketball court. The Island Housing Trust is seeking an additional $66,810 of Affordable Housing funds as Chilmark’s share of a total goal of raising an additional $597,000 CPA funds for the proposed 20-unit Keune’s Way affordable rental development in Tisbury; The Island Housing Trust is seeking a second Affordable Housing appropriation of $55,450 as Chilmark’s share of a total goal of raising $500,000 CPA funds for the proposed 9-unit Scott’s Grove affordable rental development in West Tisbury; All are welcome.
