Superintendant reported that sticker sales have been slow.  Megan McCormick has been hired as the second sticker clerk. The staff schedule is completed thru July, employees are ready to work.  Two new buoys have been purchased for Menemsha, totaling about $500.00.  The rainy weather has slowed the beach down.  Martina ordered snow fencing and mulch hay for LVB.  The roadside at Squibnocket needs to be cut.  Working on the communication with Abel’s Hill beach Association regarding their beach pass system.  Superintendant requested the review of a letter written from a resident requesting permission to travel by foot over private beach lots which abuts LVB.  Committee told Superintendant the patron needs to obtain permission on their own, the town can not be the liaison.

The committee thanked Steve for his outstanding services.  He took full responsibility for the completion of the beach shack.  The committee asked that Steve gather his bills so he can be reimbursed.  Steve said that he would speak with Bill Seaborn about negotiating the bill, since we are looking for an adjustment. .Steve will install the doors and the guards will be doing the painting.  Steve called upon several friends to help with the shingling.  The committee voted to grant weekend passes to the men who assisted Steve with the shingling.

Superintendent purchased a $400.00 warranty to replace a broken printer.  This is the most cost effective way to fix the printer.

There was a request for an August event at Menemsha Beach.  Applicant is in the Coast Guard.  The time is between 12-1 pm.  About 30 people will be attending.  Superintendant will seek confirmation on this event.

Martina would like to be put on the Selectmen’s agenda to discuss beach erosion.

Committee asked about the discretionary passes that can be given out by the town.  Martina did know about this policy.

Martina is implementing the “sub-one policy”; this is applicable to the 3rd year lifeguards at LVB.
