Chilmark Beach Committee
January 22nd, 2009
Present: Clarissa Allen, Pam Bunker, Martina Mastromonaco, Steve McQuiggan & Kristin Maloney
1. Meeting called to order 4:30pm.
2. Drafted “Thank you” letter to Tea Lane Nursery for donating Christmas trees to help prevent beach erosion. These trees were placed at Lucy Vincent.
3. Voted to approve several sets of minutes: September 25th, 2008, October 30th, 2008, November 20th, December 18th, 2008 & December 17th, 2008.
4. Committee discussed drafting letter to abutters to seek approval for new beach shack.
5. Committee chairperson went to Board of Selectmen meeting and received approval for the new shack.
6. Committee chairperson is working on obtaining quotes for proposed composting toilets to present at the Finance Committee meeting February 4th, 2009.
7. February 4th, 2009 7pm. Finance Committee meeting, the beach committee is on agenda.
8. Next meeting February 19th, 2009 5pm.
9. Voted to adjourn 5:50pm.
