Chichester Road Advisory Committee
Minutes of May 8, 2017
Attending: Allen Mayville, Jr., Jim Plunkett, BrianEldredge, Doug Hall, Tom Jameson, Guy Goodwin
Chair Allen Mayville opened the meeting at 6:33pm.
Members reviewed the minutes of the April 10 meeting. Amotion was then made, seconded and voted unanimously to approve the minutes of April10.
The committee discussed their individual onsite visits tothe 7 possible projects that had been identified at the April meeting forpossible reconstruction work in 2018. There was a diversity of opinion aboutthe roads that deserved highest priority.
Guy listed King Road and Kelleys Corner Road as his highestpriority
Tom thought completing Horse Corner Road was most important
Jim mentioned King Road and Horse Corner Road
Allen mentioned Kellys Corner Road with Websters Mills roadas a project.
Doug felt East Ricker Road was in the worst condition andfit with Bear Hill Road as a project.
Brian agreed with Guy that King Road and Kelleys Corner Roadshould be highest priority
After wide ranging discussion, it was decided that WebstersMills Road, Bear Hill Road, and East Ricker Road segments were in need of workin some subsequent year, perhaps 2019 or later.
The committee agreed to make an onsite inspection of thefollowing paved road segments at its next meeting.

Jim reported that the 2017 road projects will not be doneuntil late June. Jodi evidently does not want to use Tax Anticipation Notes toobtain funds to pay the contractor.
The next meeting will be 6:30pm at the Highway Office onMonday June 12. If it is not raining, the committee will go from there toinspect the road segments listed above.
The meeting was adjourned at 7:19 pm.
