Status of onsite evaluations
CIP Submission & Plan Time Frame
Discussion as to what to propose to the CIP committee. There was also discussion as to how soon these road segments need to be repaired. Should these be part of a 4 year, 5 year, 10 year or 15 year plan.
After much discussion and realizing most of these road segments will not hold up another 7 -8 years it was decided we would present to CIP a 4 year plan.
The following is a list of the road segments we plan to propose to CIP;
Pleasant St. – 2 segments
Kelly Corner – 2 segments
Horse Corner – 3 segments
King Road – Harvest to #111
Bear Hill - 4 segments (From Ferrin Rd. to Rt.28
Canterbury – Main St. to State maintained section
Burnt Hill – 2 sections
Perry Brook bridge replacement – This would be funded by a FEMA grant.
Jim will put together the following info for the road segments list above;

Traffic count
Cost estimate
There was some discussion as to how these projects would be funded and if they were done in a 4 – 5 year period, some would likely be completed by an outside contractor. The option of bonding was discussed.
The plan is to have something ready for CIP by the end of the next meting on 6/25.
Status Of Onsite Evaluations
Jim has updated the RSMS program with info from the recent evaluations.
Jim will be checking with Central Regional Planning as to the status of the recent traffic counts.
Discussion regarding a maintenance plan for bridges & culverts.
Jim plans to add a line item to his budget next year.
The next scheduled meetings are 6/25 & 7/23.
If the plan for CIP is not done by 6/25, the RAC may have to schedule another meeting in July.
