Present: Philip Hitchcock (Chairman), Mike Paveglio (Ex-Officio), Jim Plunkett (Road Agent), Allen Mayville, Brian Eldrege, Guy Goodwin
Absent: Tom Jameson, Doug Hall
Public: Ann Davis
Meeting opened 6:31 P.M.
Mike Paveglio MOTIONED to approve April 13, 2015 with corrections, seconded by Guy Goodwin, all were in favor, MOTION passed.
Philip discussed having a Vice Chair position with a Secretary or rotating for minutes.
Philip mentioned there was no agenda the last meeting was the RAC annual walk and it was decided that 2016 work would be on Horse Corner Rd.
Allen mentioned getting bids out before winter as done last year, we received 5 with 3 being in line and they were lower than expected.
Allen Mayville MOTIONED to recommend Higgins Rd. to Dame Farm @ 7,010’ (1.3 MI) for the 2016 project, it was seconded by Brian Eldrege, all were in favor, and the MOTION passed. Jim will get a revised estimate together with the newly suggested extension that includes driveways and culverts.
Bear Hill Rd. in 2017 was discussed; start where we left off at Farrin Rd. and that we may have to do something before because of low pricing (1.5 sections).
Jim discussed Buzzby’s job on 2015 Bear Hill Rd. project - Wolcott used rubber roller on Bear Hill Rd. did a good job and wants to include this spec in future bids.
With no further discussion, Guy Goodwin MOTIONED to adjourn, seconded by Mike Paveglio, all in favor MOTION passed, meeting adjourned at 7:07 P.M.
