CHICHESTER PLANNING BOARD
MINUTES OF MEETING
November 19, 2007
Members Present: Chairman Brad Towle, Stan Brehm, Joanna McIntosh, Tom Jameson, Fred Ruoff, Richard Moore (alt), Chris Weir (alt), Secretaries Jamie Pike and Andrea Deachman..
Chairman Towle called the meeting to order at 6:30pm.
Mr. Doug Hall presented the Board with suggested changes to the Site Plan Regulations inclusive of conformity standards with current Town Zoning Ordinances in regards to lighting and signage in the Commercial District.
Mr. Towle proposed the removal of all Zoning Ordinances from the Site Plan Regulations and the Subdivision Regulations and adding a section to each application’s checklist about zoning conformity.
Mr. Towle presented the Board with a proposed amendment to the Bylaws of the Board concerning Site Visits.
Discussion ensued among the Board members as to regulations concerning the paving of automotive display lots. Opinion shall be gathered from CNHRPC, the Conservation Commission, and DES.
Mr. Weir presented the Board with a proposed amendment to; Article III Section F Home Occupations.
Mr. Pike presented the Board with a proposed amendment to; Article III Section Q Flood Plain Development as directed by the NH Office of Energy & Planning.
The Board discussed an amendment to; Article III Section S (7b) Open Space Conservation Development in regards to order of approvals to be granted concerning Homeowners Associations.
The Board questioned the current status of the Merrimack Soil Survey recently completed. Mr. Pike shall follow-up and research the status.
Being no further business, a motion was made by Mr. Ruoff and seconded by Ms. McIntosh to adjourn the meeting at 10:30pm. Motion passes.
