Minutes of Meeting
Tuesday, May 31, 2016
Members Present: Richard DeBold, Jeff Jordan, Town Administrator Jodi Pinard, and Administrative Assistant Kristy McIntosh
Others Present: Fred Chagnon and Stan Brehm.
Call to Order Mr. DeBold called the meeting to order at 6:30pm
Flag donation-
Fred and Donna Chagnon donated a 3x5 American flag for use in the Grange Hall. Cindy Ann Cleaners will clean the flag for free in the future.
The flag pole has nothing stationary to hold the flag in place which needs to be addressed. The Selectmen’s office will look into flying the flag properly in the Grange Hall.
The Brownfields Project-
Mr. Brehm stated that he wanted to speak with the Selectmen about the Brownfields project happening at Central New Hampshire Regional Planning Commission (CNHRPC).
CNHRPC was recently awarded an EPA Brownfield Assessment grant to conduct assessments to potentially contaminated sites in the region for cleanup.
Mr. Brehm had a property in mind that he felt would be a good fit for the project. The property owner would have to agree and be willing to participate.
Tom Houle is going to touch base with the property owner to find out if they would be interested in applying for the project. The deadline is June 17, 2016.
Adjournment
Being no further discussion, a motion was made by Mr. DeBold and seconded by Mr. Jordan to adjourn the meeting at 6:58pm. Motion passes
