Minutes of Meeting
Tuesday, July 9, 2013
Members Present: Chairman Jeffrey Jordan, Richard DeBold and Administrative Asst. Jamie A Pike.
Others Present: Chief Patrick Clarke, Marlene Hammond, Donna Chagnon, Allen Mayville, Philip Hitchcock, Matt Cole, Lucille Noel, and Ann Davis.
Chairman Jordan called the meeting to order at 6:15 pm.
A motion was made by Mr. Jordan and seconded by Mr. DeBold to enter into a non-public session pursuant to RSA 91-A, II(b) to review applications for the position of Town Administrator. Roll Call Vote: Jordan, aye; DeBold, aye.
A motion was made by Mr. DeBold and seconded by Mr. Jordan to exit the non-public session. Roll Call Vote: Jordan, aye; DeBold, aye.
Department Heads:
Fire Department: Deputy Chief Cole presented a grant application to pay for a Safety and Survival Course. The amount of the grant is $639.44.
Library: Ms Noel reported that there are 85 children signed up for the reading program. Bathroom construction will begin with the next two weeks. The trustees continue to look at new software, Atrium software is currently being used by the school and several surrounding communities. This software will cost between $5K and $6K, and hopes are to purchase the software using donations and book sale funds.
Heritage Commission: A Community Charrette information night is scheduled for July 22nd at 7pm. Ms. Noel also presented the Board with a Donor Plaque, naming all persons that have donated funds towards the Grange Window refurbishment.
Carpenter Park: Mr. DeBold reported that Epping well will be replacing the pump on July 10th.
Mr. DeBold announced that Elaine Coffey and Judy Clark have resigned as Supervisors of the Checklist. Ms. Chagnon and Doug Hall are working on finding replacements.
Being no further business, a motion was made by Mr. DeBold and seconded by Mr. Jordan to adjourn the meeting at 7:32pm. Motion passes.
