Minutes of Meeting
February 26, 2013

Chairman Paveglio opened the meeting at 7:00pm.
Department Heads
Highway: The Road Agent reports 53.5” of snow this month. The new truck already has 3400 miles on it. Nancy asked Jim to plow the driveway of Town owned property at 20 Horse Corner Road for Saturday’s auction. Jim will contact FEMA to ask about the Perry Brook Road reimbursement.
Fire: The Association has a cord wood raffle going on and they would like permission to put it on the sign at the Safety Building. The Selectmen are in agreement. There will be an in service training on the new truck on Saturday.
Building: Four permits this month; fees = 235.05
Library: Lucille Noel expressed appreciation to the Board members who attended the Library Open House. She also thanked Jim Plunkett for removing snow and ice from driveway. The Library is considering purchasing ancestry.com. They will be instituting a buy a book program.
Tax Collector: Evelyn asked the Board for permission to have the Town’s attorney perform a deed abstract. She has a property that may be going to deeding and she cannot locate the owner. She has information that there may be another mortgage on the property, but the records are not clear. The Board agrees to have the Attorney do the research.
Other Business
Auction: Mr. Jordan and Mr. Paveglio will be at the auction on Saturday and can sign on behalf of the Town.
Zoning: Mr. Paveglio asked the Fire Chief to visit the Perry Brook Road address and ask the resident if they would like any information. He asked for it to be a friendly educational visit not enforcement.
Vien V. Chichester: The Board was asked about the settlement terms of the Vien V Chichester suit. Mr. Paveglio said the terms are not public yet. When everything is signed and finalized they can be requested under RSA 91-A.
A motion by Mr. Jordan and seconded by Mr. Paveglio to adjourn the meeting at 7:28. Motion passes.
